Interior designers scottland are best friends, as is a few of their own colleagues.
It’s a friendship that goes far beyond the fact that the pair of them have worked together for over a decade, and even the word friendship has come to mean something in their work.
In a new interview with The Guardian, Scott and Chris talk about their friendship, how it came to be, and the importance of good friends in the workplace.
“When I started working for them, we were very close, and we did a lot of design work together,” Chris says.
“We always had a very positive relationship.”
Scott says it wasn’t just their shared love of the craftsmanship and design of their work that was crucial.
“They really cared about me, and I cared about them.
They were very involved in my life, and their involvement in my work was very important.”
They were always looking to me to make sure that we were making a good product, and that I was making a great product,” he says.
“But it was so important to have someone who was also a good listener and who understood how to take feedback and make the best product.””
When we first started working together, I thought it would be a lot easier working with a person who was an artist rather than a designer,” he explains.

It was always a team effort.
I’d come up with the idea, Chris would work on the final design, and they’d come back with a very specific version of the product that was very different from what we’d had before.
“Chris says that the best part of the relationship is that they never talk about politics, and often have a great sense of humour.”
There is always a sense of mutual respect between them, because we all have different perspectives on how things should be made,” Chris explains.
“The most important thing is that you make the product what they want it to be. “
I know that when you get an opportunity to make something for someone, it’s really important to give them the best opportunity possible to make it,” he tells The Guardian.
“The most important thing is that you make the product what they want it to be.
You never get rid of that desire.”
Chris says that they “always try to make the most of everything we’re given” to ensure that the customer gets what they need.
